The Sanyasa Sangama was held on 5th February-2023, an event that was successfully organized is another feather in the cap of Bangalore CRI. The event witnessed that consecrated life was celebrated in its vibrant, joyful, self-giving, unity, and solidarity.
Around 1000 consecrated members under one roof shouted aloud with one unified voice as all are like Fratelli and Sorelle (brothers and sisters) in Jesus, who is our light and our guiding star. It was indeed so, because each of us stood for our sense of selflessness and willingness to endorse and proclaim our oneness in the Lord, notwithstanding the diversity of charisma, to spread Jesus' call to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth.
The invited guests were Most Rev. Peter Machado Archbishop of Bangalore and Most Rev. Bishop Sebastian Bishop of Mandya.
Fr. Xavier Manavath CMF Episcopal Vicar for Religious in Bangalore, opened it by his attention capturing talk on the purpose and goals of CRI.
Prof. J. Philip, Founding Director and Chairman of XIME Bangalore, Dr. Fr. Cyril Victor Joseph Director of Paalanaa Bhavana and CCBI Media in charge, the indomitable Mrs. Margret Alva, long time MP, Central Minister and Governor in different states of India in the past etc.
The Office bearers of BCRI left no stone unturned in spending their time, effort, and energy very specially all the religious fathers, sisters and brothers with a sense of selflessness and willingness gathered together at the Christ University auditorium for a common cause, that is in response to Jesus' call to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth.
